Never in conquest, never advancing more than what pushes into the boundaries of a threat.]
The Demon King never took kindly to discussions of peace when it meant relenting the control of demons over humanity. It's never been a balance. Between heaven and hell, perhaps... but are humans a blessed creation, or the unclean scraps? Here only to be protected, to be used, to rely on the powerful and beg and grovel and hope they aren't collateral?
[The phantom looks ragged with the starts of exhaustion. But he still draws in a deep breath, and advances once more into the depths of the valley with the blink of a teleportation spell.]
To treat the human world as a lesser should not be accepted. To underestimate a human shouldn't be a novelty. And their free will should be on their shoulders and theirs alone.
