A vacation...
[Now, there's a thought. Has he ever had a vacation...? Adventuring with the Warrior of Light might count, but does it really?]
I suppose there's no harm in trying to enjoy yourself while preparing for the worst. It wouldn't do to spend your time stewing in anxiety.
