Aight, so, they're real where I'm from even if they ain't what you'd call common. There's a story that a long time ago, the Five Elemental Dragons gave some of their blood to a group of mortals to grant them power over the elements. I dunno how true that is, but it is true that there are people with elemental powers that're passed down through their bloodline.

My sis is one of them and she's a Wood Aspect. So she's got power over plants and it sort of just...shows up on her.

I believe you may be confusing the term with something else that sounds similar...? In the tribes of Seekers of the Sun, men are divided into tias and nunhs, with the nunhs being the only breeding male of the tribe. It's similar to having a harem, I suppose.
