... Why do humans insist on having a school sort of thing when everything else is terrible? They tried something similar where I'm from, too. Just do literally anything else.
( It wasn't a real school (just a weird writing choice, but that's too meta), but the fact that the demon army in particular chose that as its way of busying humans and picking out experiments instead of putting them to work on actually useful projects - even ones beneficial to the army - will always escape Mika.
