Makes sense. Why push yourself to get stronger if you don't have'ta? Can't say I personally agree with that, but I get where they're comin' from.

My best guess is that my world's vampires ended up with Domains 'cause we had to fight against humans using magic - there ain't as many of 'em these days, but they can still kill vampires real easily; we're real weak to magic. So vampires kill humans with magic - assumin' they can't press 'em into service, anyway.
