He definitely looks way too dressed up (sans mask) to be scrounging for konbini food but sometimes you grab what you can get in an isekai situation. Also he's been using the excuse of munchies to dodge any dancing requests when he's feeling lazy and unmotivated to schmooze, which is very much about 70% of the time.
As shown by present company, though, ambushes will still get him about 50% of the time. He is just a li'l old provincial student who prefers to watch the big leagues entertain each other while stubbornly eating his riceball as slowly as possible.]
