[Sure enough, there’s a gathering of teens (and maybe some not-so-teens?) to be found in the bar! While the posting mentions this is a teen only event, adults are in fact allowed as long as they are cool. OOCLY please be aware there are going to be teens drinking alcohol and possibly smoking! Also additionally, please let the teens/players have fun; again, adults are allowed but only if they’re cool enough to play along without snitching them out!

We have powers and a different sort of - um - technology, but I don't... I wouldn't say it's like magic. There are witches that come out for Halloween and such - and they do use magic.

Angels and demons both tend to have extremely powerful magic where I'm from, depending on their rank. Thinking of it any differently is so strange to me.

I wouldn't be surprised if some archangels can use magic, too, since they can do... basically anything.

[ So still extremely powerful, but it's the terminology that doesn't slot just right. ]

But I'm pretty normal. And being a little bit of both means, it's harder for me to... balance.

I could imagine that. Any sort of blessing tends to be toxic for a demon in my experience, but you seem to handle it fine enough.

Well, would be nice if my magic worked all the time. On the Eastern mission, it failed me half the time. I don’t… want it to fail me when it matters.

What sort of things were happening around you, when your magic didn't work?

The same as when it did work… but I suppose, I never stopped being anxious about everyone’s safety. We were drenched and…

Did you doubt yourself, when you tried to use your magic in those moments? Were you overwhelmed, or just disheartened?

I think you shouldn't be so harsh on yourself. You have done incredible work using just your concern as your source. It is not a weakness. Maybe... it's just having a hard time grounding itself, when drowned in a sea of uncertanties.

When I'm feeling a little more like myself, we can get you out to practice. Would you be alright with that?

No, that isn't my range of expertise, I'm afraid. I wouldn't be able to offer much unless you wanted to practice against a long-range opponent.
