Teenagers Scare the Living Shit Out Of Me etc. etc.
[Characters passing by the bulletin board may notice a new message tacked to it!]
Drinking party at the bar at 8pm. Under 21 only. Adults will be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Fun and games included, party hats optional. Don’t be late!
[Sure enough, there’s a gathering of teens (and maybe some not-so-teens?) to be found in the bar! While the posting mentions this is a teen only event, adults are in fact allowed as long as they are cool. OOCLY please be aware there are going to be teens drinking alcohol and possibly smoking! Also additionally, please let the teens/players have fun; again, adults are allowed but only if they’re cool enough to play along without snitching them out!
All party game top levels are going to be made under Ahito’s account but please assume ICly that Akira instigated/explained them! Once the game toplevels are up you can also post your own toplevels to mingle freely if you like IDK IT’S A PARTY HAVE FUN]

What's a situation that's embarrassed you, then?

Damn now he remembered why he took his sweet time joining the game. ]
How merciless.
[ ANYWAY
He is lowering his voice here. It is lowered. ]
I suppose someone asking me to...ahem, essentially be mindful of certain strenuous activity with an injured individual.

[ what was jy doing, waxing poetic about solomon's assets while the man was laid up in bed or something??? 'he looks so cute covered in blood???' ]
My, how scandalous. Just what were you doing...?
no subject
[ Clearly Jing Yuan was holding back his secret hidden identity as a third vampire and resisted from trying to suck blood from Solomon or something.
Jokes aside, Jing Yuan sees through Robin's meowster plan effpurtlessly. Anyway, he clears his throat. ]
I was simply watching over him, is all. Fortunately, nothing scandalous happened.
Speaking of which, I believe it's your turn again, is it not?
no subject
[ hmmmmm. why doesn't he believe that? but fine, he'll show jing yuan mercy tonight. ]
But, very well. Why not try your hand at a dare, hm?
no subject
...He blinks, though, when Robin tells him straight up to dare him.
Something occurs to him, just then. ]
I see. I dare for you to transform yourself into a female.
[ No one has tried that as of yet? Well, whatever the case, here it is. ]
1/2
2/2
And how long will I be holding this transformation for, hm?
no subject
Anyway, hi newly pigtailed Robin... ]
Ah, I suppose forty-five minutes will do. Not quite as long as an hour, but not too short as a half-an hour.
Kinda a 2/2 too
Jing Yuan 'prostrates' himself by getting down on one knee because nobody is going to have him flopping completely down his entire body on the floor in a kowtow. But he does go a little further by inclining his head downwards in apparent reverence and deference, even moving his hands to rest upon the floor as he does so. ]
As decreed by the ever so grand and magnificently, yet wise Overlord Solomon who wishes to fervently watch this scene with unrepentant desire, I beseech you, Greater Lord Robin, to as grant me a delectable, alcoholic nectar of your choosing to be tasted upon my tongue.
[ After that, he looks up at Robin, eyes half-open with a lazy smile, and positioned so Solomon can see this, I guess. ]
1/2
You two really are meant for each other.
[ she can see it right now, actually: solomon + jing yuan, and the two hearts over their heads of support rank up. ]
2/2s all the way down apparently
In my current lifespan alone those who would call themselves devout to their faith have instilled and manipulated a puppet king into a long and bloody war to weaken another kingdom and lay claim on their most important artifacts. They assassinated a ruler who only wanted peace in pursuit of this goal. They galvanized the flames of another continent, swept the entirety of that one up in bloody conquest as well, all in order to collect the gemstones that would grant their stolen artifact the power they sought.
For the suffering of the people they were responsible for, they cared naught. A final step in pursuit of their greed: the ritual sacrifice of everyone who flocked to their poisoned faith in the wake of the chaos the puppet king's death left, a chaos they engineered. A feast the one it was meant for wanted little of.
Prostrate yourself and make yourself a fool. But, if you might still slake your thirst, then pick your poison from along the wall. I shan't entertain this foolishness when it is petty spite that fuels it.

He is not looking and will simply take a long drink wherever he's seated.]

It makes sense, why Robin hates the act so much. Were he to have caught something like that with such eregious consequences, he would not have been proud of his own kind, just like he had not always been proud of the cycles they shoved themselves through, of peace and war, of well intentions never being enough to stave off the evil for long. Like the ebb and flow of the ocean, kind in moments and horrifying in others.
But no thing, no man, no god above, could control the ocean. Not its rocking, nor its depth, nor its capabilities, nor its possibilities. Not the way it could help, nor the way it could swell and rage and destroy. A complicated balance.
It's regretable, to see the consequences. And if Robin's regrets stemmed from what he'd chosen to do on receiving this information, he doesn't wish to pluck up the blame for remnants of humanity needing to answer for their actions.
But empathy does not always beget mercy. And his look from across the room, though not issuing a challenge, not betraying spite, still stays firm in the viewpoint Robin knows he also holds.
He would still stand with them, if it came down to it. If it came to war, if it came to blows in retaliation and rage. He is not their protector, but he would still yank the muzzle of the beast if it snapped too hard.]

[ Jing Yuan is no coward, though the expression on his face is thoughtful, with words that are admittedly a bit seriously spoken. But as Robin keeps talking, it suddenly becomes clear that the intention of Solomon's actions are twofold. How does he feel about being used as a vehicle to facilitate whatever disagreement between the both of them that seems to have transpired in the last few hours. Maybe more? To that, in which, he feels kind of conflicted about. Maybe it is less conflicted, and more something entirely surprisingly but startingly, yet starkly unpleasant.
Well, whatever the case, this rant, though directed at him, is also for certain intended for Solomon as well. But first, he will address this properly before walking away, since that seems quite irresponsible otherwise.
And so, he rises. ]
It appears that whatever disagreement has started between the two of you I have been made more aware by my unknowing participation in it as a result of what I presumed to be a harmless round of a game.
Be it as it may, I have no reason to follow up on obtaining alcohol from you; only that it was required to ask it of you.
For whatever occurrences have transpired as a result of the circumstances of your reawakening, I can only say that they are indeed nothing less than despicable. I have no intentions of making light of such matters, as the actions of those who have worshipped you so fiercely were nothing short of diabolical.
...That being said, if Solomon's intention was to conjure a rise out of you, it appears that he is succeeding in spades.
And from this I certainly do not intend to play anymore part in it. My apologies for that, at the very least.
[ From this, it seems straightforward; this is a discussion involving bad people doing terrible things, and less about the eradication of humanity or humans as a whole. Even so, Jing Yuan doesn't think it's really reasonable to ruffle feathers to this extent, though while he is an observant man, he can't account for every action or conversation thread in the party either. ]

That he drags others into the games he plays without giving them due warning is more proof of the same self-involvement that grates at me.
[ her eyes are flashing, but she recognizes that jy is merely an unwitting instrument, and that the tool (in the other sense of the word) here is solomon. ugh. ]
If you would seek to court him, then perhaps you might think to temper that particular habit of his.
no subject
Hopefully it can be at least spoken about in some manner (and slowly worked on?) because he doesn't think it's exactly...a good thing to consistently butt heads with others, to put it very lightly. ]
Your words have been taken into consideration. And I do not say this simply for speaking them.
Though this is not how I would have preferred to gain knowledge on such a matter, it is certainly better than remaining oblivious.
In the meanwhile I hope that the rest of your time spent in the game goes far more peaceful than this.
[ And though it may or may not be a stretch, he wishes that perhaps, Solomon and Robin may be able to at least smooth over their grievances. ]

[ solomon, however- robin has to wonder if the man has, ever once, tried to meet anyone halfway. does he fear his convictions to become compromised if he ever should, even in something as innocuous as this?
or is he a coward who makes himself an island, brandishing all of his flaws up front and making no effort to correct them, only claiming that it's only to be expected when the hands outstretched to him fail to reach him, when he fails to reach back out? ]
I will be stepping outside for a moment before I say something that more than one of us may regret.
Then maybe we'll see about the rest of this dare of yours.

[ For a moment, as that unsettling feeling remains, Jing Yuan ponders what it is Solomon is capable of.
Indeed, perhaps, in the most oblique of senses.
If he is a man who cannot acknowledge his wrongs, then what he glimpsed before may have naught but an illusion. Indeed, if he shies away, he will be forced to accept that the man he thought was brilliant in his bravery is someone dishonorable in his cowardice. ]
That said, I understand completely.
...I shall see you later, then.
[ Keeping it short, figuring it will suit them both (and everyone) best, Jing Yuan makes his way back to Solomon. ]

...He has more sympathy for Robin here, though. ]

Sympathies, my guy. )
