[Sure enough, there’s a gathering of teens (and maybe some not-so-teens?) to be found in the bar! While the posting mentions this is a teen only event, adults are in fact allowed as long as they are cool. OOCLY please be aware there are going to be teens drinking alcohol and possibly smoking! Also additionally, please let the teens/players have fun; again, adults are allowed but only if they’re cool enough to play along without snitching them out!

All party game top levels are going to be made under Ahito’s account but please assume ICly that Akira instigated/explained them! Once the game toplevels are up you can also post your own toplevels to mingle freely if you like IDK IT’S A PARTY HAVE FUN]

Oh, she might be. Hundreds of years is too short of a time to be sure but there hasn't been any signs of her degrading.

Yes, that is right. We Sylvari don't actually have a father as you would know it, as the Pale Tree can propagate on her own. We call her Mother.

Ah... [He shakes his head.] Our mother is a tree, but it would be more right to say we Sylvari are her "fruit".

[ god hit him with this in the tower and he'd take it in stride but this is reminding him of how long it's been since he's left. don't mind him taking a look to see what sylvaria is drinking if he is. ]

[It's just normal alcohol, probably wine that hasn't even hit halfway down.]

In a sense. Her physical form is a tree but she projects an avatar that resembles Sylvari. [He gestures to himself.] It makes her easier to talk to, both for us and for visiting dignitaries.

But her avatar can't leave her chamber, so although she has hands to hold and feet to walk, she cannot wander. We bring our stories back to her instead.

[Syrlya breathes out a chuckle.] We have our internal conflict as well, but... our Mother does pass down a belief in a peaceful coexistence with the world and all the people in it, that she learned from the ones who nurtured her as a seed.

What is your own family like?

[ dryly: ]

Killing within the family isn't looked down upon, but encouraged. While there's plenty of conflict between the wives and their children no matter the day, officially there's a battle royale when we come of age.

Oh, my. [He rests a hand on his chest.] A battle royale? For what purpose--proof of power?

The right to stay in the family or be exiled. Though that assumes you survive in the first place.

I see. [He purses his lips with a frown.] I'm sorry, being forced to fight your own family isn't easy. That your right to be among them would be contingent on such is very cruel.

[lighthaus]

I won't ask the circumstances if you aren't comfortable sharing them. [But he can't quite assume the worst knowing what he knows of Khun's family now.]

They're personal. [ and no amount of alcohol will get him to spill on that unless he wants to. ]

But I don't regret it.
