Hmmmm. The Central thing's kinda vague... what kinda consequences you thinking?
[Mostly people are so iffy on executions or hexes or even shrimp?? Is this an out of sight, out of mind thing...
The thing is, if they're just here to do political logistics Cid really isn't that interested or useful, hence his very meh assessment.]

[ ...This doesn't take so much thought with this suggstions and the others helping out with conditions, really. ]
Hand the dumbass over to Central, please.
[ They're just kind of tired.
"Of the awful guy or the kinda complicated predicament that?"
Yes. ]

[ Okay, that managed to get a little chuckle out of him.... ]
...
[ People keep bringing up this excuse of not wanting to build further animosity between humans and wizards as if this will help in any way. At most, it keeps things neutral, but Ginger doubts it. He knows there are humans out there that will twist rationality to rally behind this guy, all for the love of hate. At the end of the day, he thinks sending him to the Central Authorities will do nothing and solve nothing. If expecting him to repent is a waste of time, why bother doing anything? Set him free, then.
But most of the wizards here are likely leaving, so it won't be their problem after that. Out of sight, out of mind.
Honestly, interacting with so many humans and human-adjacent beings has... not... been a good experience for Ginger overall. He's been touched by kindness - Bruno's, for example - but he's also just seen the worst examples of humanity here. ]

[ He turns his head slightly in Solomon's direction and wonders why Solomon didn't hesitate to threaten Mika - and, apparently, at one point, Ginger's own head was an option (misunderstanding?)(???) - but killing this human doesn't sound like it's an option... ]
Shouldn't be too tough to do now that it's already such a mess. We could even dump whatever's left in the ocean or something.
[ Because very little from on the land survives saltwater long-term. All that metal and wires will be garbage before it ever washes up somewhere. ]

[ okay, now he's cutting in. ]
If I may. He's already faced several sets of consequences.
[ getting everyone he might have remotely called a friend killed. failing in whatever it was he was trying to do in the east. losing his job. eating shit tonight. robin's expression is at odds with his tone, one a practiced, kind smile, if wan and distant, the other brisk and no-nonsense. ]
He's learned nothing from them thus far, merely cocooning himself further in denial and doubling down on his belief that it must be everyone's fault but his own. Perhaps it might yet be a distant possibility, but why don't we not get our hopes up for him ever learning better.
[ and then, because he's been noting the trend of phil's general responses this entire time, he'll go out on slightly more of a limb: ]
Seeing your own reflection in the face of every malefactor will not avail you any. By all means, advocate for a bloodless end if you do so for its own sake, but I imagine you will be sorely disappointed should you try to find your own redemption in that of a man such as this.
Some blackguards will simply not repent no matter how much gentle cajoling you do, how many chances you give them. A potentially kind but misguided man acting blindly out of anger and despair is one thing; a self-important fool who thinks the entire world owes him something is another.
[ phil's only going to burn himself and make himself more miserable that way. ]

He was specifically trying to kill us though?? Did I miss something??
[Like, Cid didn’t take it personally because it was like watching a wet paper bag yell at clouds but it definitely attempted to be personal!!
Also, the shrimp was just because he was lame.]

[ Ah... He's both touched, which shows in the way his expression softens, but also that makes him realize he should probably warn Aguero about something in particular first. ]
I should tell you. [ He reaches to poke at his arm. It's probably obvious, considering his demise, but it's worth bringing up again at this point. ] They called me Homra's weakest exec for a reason. When people wanted to get at King or Kusanagi-san, they'd go for me.
People might do the same to you. I know how to keep myself safe, but I don't want it to stress you out too much.
[ He'll be fine... Probably? ]
