Can't believe this guy decided to just blow up the manor, though...

[ Alone, it seems? He can't imagine the Western army being this stupid, so probably. ]

[ He shakes his head. ]

People can be incredibly stupid, especially when blinded by rage and prejudice.

[ Funny how Kurapika is saying that considering how own admitted rage, though Day knows he has his head on much better. ]

Even if he's being a dumbass right now, I think that metal lunk's got some other tricks. The barrier's down.

[ Which, well, perhaps it's obvious, but Day feels it's worth pointing out that he somehow managed to break it, one way or another. ]

[ robin, sweeping his way in from the dining room to wherever they're all gathering (looking a little worse for wear, but mostly fine), interjects a little brusquely: ]

It took ... two tries, it seems, for whatever occurred to actually take.

I think we might have to operate with the assumption that the resonance neutralizers that Khun mentioned previously have reached at least a somewhat functional state, just to err on the side of caution. This might be something to keep in mind for anyone too reliant on their magic.

That said. If any of us has the chance to do it, we might want to get the moonstone in the courtyard out of the way of the worst of it, lest we chance something exploding untimely, or something equally inconvenient.

[ or maybe they should just weaponize it to kill two birds with one stone, literally. ]

[Phil nods in response.]

I felt both attempts as well. If they are using the resonance neutralizers, that would seem to indicate that either their power or range is limited, or perhaps both. We might be able to use that fact to our advantage.

Failing that, we might wish to use a decoy to try to lure whoever or whatever is armed with them away from the rest of the group. Our physical fighters may be the best option for that.

Is it?

Bastard wouldn't be here if it was still up, yeah?

[ ...Day's going to be scrutinizing Kurapika a little more though, because Day knows he would have noticed sooner if he was in top form. ]

Like Robin said though, they had to try twice, so whatever it is, it ain't foolproof either.

[ There's a slightly displeased look on his face as Day studies him. Stop!!! ]

Mm... it means we stand a chance, at the very least.

[ Look, this is what you get when you're still standing by the grace of first aid healing. But he doesn't seem to be moving to try healing Kurapika yet, still. ]

Worth keepin' an eye out for. Chances are there's more around 'side what was used at the manor, dependin' on where those threads lead.

[ Day is just going to keep the worst possible scenario in mind because he knows how it tends to go when the stakes are high. ]

You're right. I wouldn't be surprised if they laid traps at those endpoints.

[ Then again, that's all the more reason to make haste towards them too. ]

I wouldn't be surprised as it seemed that it wasn't immediate...we can assume that it isn't exactly foolproof; though it is also quite effective.

[ Going off the ~feeling~ crew here. Regardless, he'll add in: ]

With that in mind I recommend it best to see what weak points can be gleaned from that machine.

[ Just in case it has an absurd amount of defenses, machines typically do have weak points even if they're not always glaring. ]

It kinda looks like he put it together from a bunch of leftovers. Can't imagine it not havin' some kinda weak point.
