Just isn't what I expected when we got back. And yeah, Kurapika's got the fragment.
[They're even (mostly) uninjured, though still a bit scuffed up. Ahito in particular realizes that if Mika's around he needs to heal up some scrapes on his arm, real quick. Gomen about the scent of blood.]
Just a little. Some wraiths were after the fragment.
Luckily for us, the witches and wizards of Central are a lot more welcoming than the ones up North. They were already protecting the jewel, and they helped fight off the wraiths when we made our escape.
[Oh good, let's get this blood off of him, no need to give cause for distraction what with everything else already going on. Fortunately the wound's already healed, it's just the blood he hasn't had a chance to clean up properly yet.]
Yeah, we will. ...Didn't get any names though, so it might be tough finding them.
[Hmmmmm well. Maybe he'll just leave the request with Tatara or something.]
It was Solomon and Ithaqua, right? They'll probably be... [Not necessarily fine, but...] ...okay.
[ He takes the towel. It feels nice and relaxing... ]
I've got no idea. Do you have any thoughts? It should probably go with the rest whenever they're brought back, so perhaps an area with a bit of space...?
[ Or do they just hold it up to the old sage or something...?
Also, he finally lets the soul fragment go back to its normal size now that he no longer needs to carry it around in his pocket. It's much bigger now. ]
[ He’s a little confused how one guy can fit five cats rocks in him, but - magic. So he shrugs and just watches.
Going closer seems to be the right thing to do? Even Ginger, who’s not holding the fragment, can feel the pull of it wanting to return to its rightful place.
Eerily, it reminds him of the automatons longing for to be made whole by the moon. ]

[ What’s the problem?? Mika’s magic is beautiful like him - ]
Welcome back, by the way. Did you find…?
[ He glances at Oz. ]

Did you have any trouble?

We’ll have to thank them after. Uh, here.
[ He calls for one of his healing towels, courtesy of Comet. ]
I wonder if we sent enough people North though…

[ And also as Ahito said, he has the soul fragment with him! He takes it out of his pocket.
Oh, and... there's a good amount of dried blood on his clothing, though he's no longer actively bleeding. Oops. ]

Where do you think we should put that?

I do… have a box we can store it in, but let’s bring it closer to him and see if anything happens.
no subject
I think that's a good idea.
[ So he'll just... awkwardly walk towards the old sage with this big lumpy soul rock in his arms. ]

Anyway, the soul fragment very easily becomes part of the old sage again. Kurapika watches as it gets absorbed (presumably) and crosses his arms. ]
Hmm. If I'm not imagining things, I believe he looks... less pale.

He’s… kind of like a storage unit… I suppose we can just shove them all in him and hope for the best.
how the fuck did that just happen i was logged into this account
[ He shrugs. ]
We may as well see what happens.
are you sure you’re amb and not a fake
[ They are conveniently??? Bringing all the soul rocks to one place for the enemy?? Sure would be awful if someone were to steal him right now, ]
Are you gonna stay with us?
you're right......... i'm bma
I'll be here for a little while, but I'll go assist with the fight some.
[ He doesn't feel good about leaving just two of them to guard such a hot commodity, though. ]
If something happens... let's find a way to communicate. I'll come right back here if you need assistance.

[ If it’s the first… ]
Something like this?
[ Pop! A burst of red magic, like a mini firework. ]
But on a bigger scale.
no subject
[ He nods at that little firework. ]
That would be perfect. I'll keep an eye out for it... if you can attach a sound to it too, that would be even better.
