[ Bruno's surprised that Akira has decided to join him in the training room turned infirmary but it is good to see he's alright. ]

Akira... I am glad to see you here but, y'know, I won't be mad if you want to be out there helping the others.

Bruno, Bruno... It's like I always say: expect the unexpected.

[Besides the fact that he, in fact, is not always saying that, he has his reasons for sticking around.]

You never know what might happen. If a bad situation turns worse, I want to be close by.

Well, alright. If that's what you want.

[ Bruno sure isn't going to shoo him away. He does give a nervous look towards the room's windows at another loud noise going on outside, though. ]

I'm worried we're too far away for people to get to us, though.

I've got a solution for that, actually.

[As he says that, Akira digs a small, violet rock out of his pocket and pops it in his mouth.]

[Because in an instant, Akira's teleported away, seemingly vanishing into thin air. A minute or two later and he's returned, a little winded and a shade paler.]

Solomon taught me something cool. I can communicate with him via his ring, too. [Points to the shiny new bling on his middle finger.] That's one more point of communication we can rely on.

[ What the?! He's gone! And... and then he's back?! ]

What the... where did you go?! What did that rock do?! [ Sure, sure, the ring thing is cool, too, but Akira doesn't look so good after pulling that other trick. ] Are you sure that's okay to do?!

[quietly wheezes]

...draining. Solomon taught me teleportation magic. Cool, right?

Akira, please don't push yourself too far with this stuff. If you end up being the one who needs healing, it won't be a whole lot of help, y'know.

Bruno. You need to trust me when I say I'll use it with care.

[One could argue the demonstration wasn't necessary, but seeing is believing. Besides, Akira didn't go far enough to truly strain himself.]

I'm not planning on using it again unless there's good reason to, so have some faith in me, alright?

[ He holds out a hand to Akira. ]

C'mon. Take my hand.

[ Because he's going to will some of his own magic over to Akira to make up for what's been lost. ]

[He has plenty of dead mages in his pockets to eat, but sure. Akira extends his hand to Bruno without further questioning.]

So you don't have to worry whenever you do have to teleport?

[ Akira, please don't put dead wizards in your mouth. Bruno can reenergize just fine and it isn't that far off from healing. One incantation later, Akira should feel a boost of energy along with the usual quiet calm of Bruno's magic. ]

[jokey]

[Ah, he figured that might have been Bruno's plan. With an extra boost thanks to Bruno, now he can teleport spam as much as he wants. Fuck discretion.

...Just kidding. He'll be good and save this nifty new trick until it's needed. Akira smiles.]
