It's a rough combo of getting landed on by Grima and them getting punched bodily by the robot only moments later, which sends him sprawling yet again. But by the time he drags himself back to his feet again, he can feel that magic already returning. There aren't many hits landing, and though a temporary freeze is in place and a spell lands to lower its defenses, everyone's taking quite the beating.
Bastard.
Wiping the taste of blood from his mouth, Solomon summons his broom with one hand and yells to Grima who's somewhere off to his side still.]
Watch the skies! I'm going to buy us some time, so get your brooms ready!
[And with a flicker, he's right next to the robot, slamming his hand to its metal surface with a ripple of magic (17).]

[His goal is to teleport both himself and the robot up as high into the sky as possible, somewhere he has been plenty of times for his mana area.
