[ Once Day has determined that somehow y'all have ended up in the sky, he has shown up on his broom, for some reason seemingly slightly damp. He's wearing a different outfit, and...
In an astounding moment of judgment and totally not biased priorities, he heads over to Phil first because he can tell when his protection bracelet has activated, and if Phil's has activated then he's already been in peril that should have downed him at some point. He also still has the wits about him to notice there are other people injured, so for the first time he tries to cast an aoe healing spell. ]
Amor manet.
[ Apparently, despite seeming calm(ish), he's also just the right level of furious, because what descends is a fairly potent heal in a radius around himself and Phil (19). Whoever else is lucky enough to be there, enjoy? ]
[He looks exhausted and definitely more than a bit worse for wear, but he's still standing under his own power, so that's a possibly a plus? Depending on how much thought Day wants to put into what it means that the bracelet has activated and what exactly it does, that is.]
... I appreciate it, but please heal the others first-- they're worse off than I am. I can still fight.
[He can and he will, because he knows that the moment he stops - the moment he achieves the goal that's keeping the bracelet's power active - he isn't going to be able to get up again.]
[ He says this dryly, so it's not really so much that as it is—a part of him is afraid of what it means that the bracelet has activated. Maybe he should have made a fuss earlier instead of worrying about causing a scene. ]
You remember what you told me, yeah? [ The promise. ]
[Phil nods, his smile small and tired but genuine.]
Of course I do. And that's why you need to make sure that you stay safe as well instead of worrying over me.
[With any luck, Day will be able to understand why Phil doesn't need protection (or at least doesn't think he does) in just a few minutes when he's regained enough energy to try casting something offensive again.]

[ Sorry Phil when this fight is how you find out Day is actually a dodge tank. ]
But if I find out you've been hidin' injuries, it's fair if I'm gonna be pissed, yeah?

[Sorry Day, you're going to be very pissed later--
It's (probably) fine.]
