Jing Yuan and Shinjiro make quick work of those Mobs for sure. The General in question glad the other male can follow his lead well enough in slugging people in the face...the headbutting kind of being different but he isn't going to necessarily fault him for that either (not that he turned around in time to see it.)
Either way, he stalks into the room proper as the bodies brutally (soundly) hit the floor (unconscious), blue light shining unerringly effervescent as his (their) eyes land upon the sapphire-like gem.
All liabilities and distractions removed from the chessboard, Jing Yuan pulls on it, levitating the jewel with ease on over to him like he does with his scrolls back home (or himself.)
Just like that, his fingers curl around its grasp, and his lips curl upwards. ]

[ Government buildings mean that there are windows and simply walking all the way back is a pain in the ass — so he just forces a window open, tearing apart the structure in its entirety before he just defenestrates himself to land on a broom.
