[What could constitute as "strange" in this world of magic?]

Because many things have been happening here-- mostly due to the stones. But your circumstances... I would like to know about what exactly was happening to this world before we were forced to step in.

From what I understand, chaos caused by the spirits, great monsters and ancient threats being revived—lots of unusual situations, but I'm not sure how it compares what you went through.

The last calamity got too close and caused a lot of damage. [ He stands a little taller. ] But we're working together on repairing that damage and preparing for the next calamity to end this cycle once and for all.

Hmm. All of what you had described did happen to us. [They fought a chimera, after all.] And they were all linked to the pieces of the moon, as we'd found once the issues had been solved.

None of the others found any evidence, I assume...? [Then he shakes his head. He won't blame Akira nor his wizards. There's no point in dwelling in the should haves.]

I cannot say how much we have resolved, but primary threats against the countries have been handled, I believe. [He rubs the back of his neck.] Of course, we still have the looming disaster left, and then... Whatever comes in the future.

If it were pieces of the moon that caused them, then it would make sense if they were like smaller, more localized calamities...

[ Instead of widespread, like the few days that followed his arrival.

Still though, he gives a firm nod. ] And I'm grateful. Thank you. But your job is done—I won't ask you to do any more than you've already done for us.

[ He smiles. ]

Leave the looming disaster to us. We'll take it from here.

Hmm. I haven't any interest in fighting the moon, myself. This is why I worked as hard as I did these past months.

I will still fight if I must but... [He shakes his head.] I'll leave it to your lot.

Of course. I don't think it'll come to that, but I'll make sure you get what you want.
