out of options for who i can be
LIGHT UP THE FIREWORKS
“I need you to come with me,” he says, arms crossed and a furrow between his brows. “Something’s not right, even more than things usually aren't right.”
Vague, but do you really have the option to ignore him? You can certainly try, but it won’t get you anywhere. You’re being dragged onto this impromptu excursion whether you want to go or not. Lazuli drags the group to the elevator, using a mana stone to transport everyone to the Northern tower. On the other side is the same snowy wasteland that’s always there, and nothing seems amiss no matter how hard you strain your senses. Lazuli seems to get even more tense, though, summoning and mounting his broom.
“Follow me. We can talk while we fly, but we don’t have long.”
OOC NOTES
🌙 Welcome to the mini-event! This isn't going to be anything too crazy and not likely to impact the trajectory of the game too terribly if you spend the entire thing just fucking around and finding out, so just have fun! If you play your cards right, though, you might find yourselves a new ally.

There's a very, very long pause.
Very, very, very long.]
Hello?

Are those cat ears real??????]
Hello?
[Going to at least like. Sit back a bit on his haunches to give the guy some space.]
no subject
Ah...
[This is awkward??? What a way to wakeup...]

[They ARE still up in the north. Uhh... guess he'll... weave a spell to ward off the chill while he's at it?]
no subject
[Oh... Now that he mentions it, he is kind cold.]
Ah, thank you. I owe you quite a bit for all of this.

[The name is so unfamiliar on his tongue.]
Where are you even from?

Are you feeling alright?
no subject
[Which is nice, and incredibly surprising.]
no subject
Good. I wouldn't mind attempting to heal you again, if you need it.
[ But more importantly, let him remember his manners— ]
What is your name?
no subject
[Oh, right. Names.
He bows his head politely.]
I am G'raha Tia, of the Students of Baldesion.

Kurapika of Central. We'll probably take you back with us, since this really isn't the sort of place to hang around.

anyway, tiny catte... cute........]
Good to see you're awake! How'd you end up here anyway?
no subject
That's something I'm afraid I don't have an answer to.
[Since he's not even sure where "here" is.]
no subject
[And without waiting for a reply, he's going to immediately cast a warming spell. It should keep G'raha nice and toasty in the frozen northern climate, despite the clothes he's wearing. All that playing with fire had a purpose!!]
no subject
Is there anything I should know about this "civilization" before we head back?
[please malice he needs information or he'll die]
no subject
[Okay he was teasing the others, but now his whole attention is on the little kitty. So this is what they've been working on, eh? He seems real enough, capable of taking healing like the beast he assisted before.
So he'll... just watch with fascination first and shadow the man where he goes like a silent guardian. And trying not to be too focused on his cute ears and tail.]
no subject
Well. It's far from the worst thing someone has said around him, so it's easy enough to brush off for now.]
Greetings.
[His ears twitch and his ear sways as he gets up to his feet properly.]
You have my thanks.

[Ithaqua crouches down before him-- their difference in height is such that, if he were to merely lean, the little kitty would still crane his neck to look at Ithaqua's face. Rather, mask.]
Now then... Have you any inkling as to how you arrived here? Or came to be in that state? [Actually he only arrived at the tail end of it... so he doesn't actually know how the others found him.]
no subject
My memory is admittedly a little fuzzy, but...
[He puts a hand to his chin as he thinks.]
I recall a voice, telling me "now it's up to you".
no subject
I suppose we shall find out soon. In any case, my dear new friend, how are your limbs? It took us an ordeal to arrive here, it may take us the same to leave.

Also, are those cat ears? Those are definitely cat ears, aren't they? Anyway, he watches from where he's standing, thoughtful expression on his face. ]
Greetings, and welcome to your awakening party. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to prepare anything else except the arrival of ourselves.
[ Anyway, jokes aside... ]
On that note, please do let us know if you so happen to be feeling off in any kind of way.
no subject
Well, it's certainly not the worst awakening party I've had.
[But it's not the worst, either.]
I seem to be all in one piece, thank you. I can't say I know what's going on, though.
[He's confused, but he did just get isekai'd.]
no subject
I can only imagine, given that there are numerous possibilities out there, after all. It seems we witnessed quite a bit, on our way here...
[ He has to wonder idly if those memories they witnessed had something to do with him. One thing at a time, however. ]
I am glad that you are well, though. If, at any time that so happens to change, do not hesitate to let us know.
As for what's going on, I can do my best to summarize the circumstances of our arrival, first. And then we can eventually speak about whatever has been possibly going on your end?
no subject
From what I remember, my day was going rather normally, and then I heard a voice...
[He thinks for a long moment.]
It wasn't a Calling, though. It didn't seem like the summoning magicks I'm familiar with, but something else entirely. An interesting phenomena, to be sure.
no subject
Calling?
[ Jing Yuan wonders...Lazuli went ahead to speak with the spirits. It had something to do with that, didn't it? He also wonders, what happened to him? But, back on the subject: ]
...We had an ally of ours guide us all along. He told us that there was something amiss with the spirits in The Forest of Dreams. He also went ahead to appeal to them.
As for other details, as we went further in, everything was blanched with white, and then we happened upon a settlement, before having to complete a crystal puzzle in order to reach here, where you are.
To that end, I ask, what did this voice sound like? An ask?
