LIGHT UP THE FIREWORKS

Lazuli seems… agitated, this morning. Not so much in the sense that he’s irritable (because that's just normal, really), but it seems as if something has gotten under his skin. He keeps looking up, out the windows or out over the horizon, and it seems eventually he grows tired of whatever it is bothering him. He accosts whoever it is that seems to have little to do this day, gathering a group of competent (...?) wizards.

“I need you to come with me,” he says, arms crossed and a furrow between his brows. “Something’s not right, even more than things usually aren't right.”

Vague, but do you really have the option to ignore him? You can certainly try, but it won’t get you anywhere. You’re being dragged onto this impromptu excursion whether you want to go or not. Lazuli drags the group to the elevator, using a mana stone to transport everyone to the Northern tower. On the other side is the same snowy wasteland that’s always there, and nothing seems amiss no matter how hard you strain your senses. Lazuli seems to get even more tense, though, summoning and mounting his broom.

“Follow me. We can talk while we fly, but we don’t have long.”

[Yeah, he's sticking close by; the spire is calling them, and it'd be silly not to answer it, right? So like before, he's tagging along with Jing Yuan.]

[The presence of the spire is almost impressive, all jagged points and edges, and as they get closer the world continues on in its patchwork collection of locations someone else remembered.

They can see that the spire is actually... made of the same blue crystal as the "mirror" they restored, and there are large doors set into the base of it.]

Well, that can't be a coincidence. Jing Yuan is many things, though, and being the kind of man to hesitate isn't one of them.

Time to continue to wander through it all, eyes laid upon the patchwork collection of locations. He will head towards the large doors located at the base, then.

Are these doors the push/or pull open type? Because he will be going for trying to open them, provided they are not stopped by something before then but there are doubts. ]

[Malice grins and wiggles the fingers on his good hand in explanation. His metal claws are not exactly great for much, but he can probably manage to get a door open.]

[A guy can't even sleep in a weird fucked up memory dimension in peace, can he? The healing spells don't do terribly much, as he wasn't that injured to begin with, but we can't fault being cautions.

The flow of magic does seem to wake the person, as they uncurl from their lump and blink their eyes open.]
